The absolute silence of the Polaris 2XT mechanisms is achieved through the use of a magnetic latch, which only secures a tightly closed door. Not a single element of the AGB Polaris 2XT mechanism protrudes beyond the end line of the door until it is completely closed. The problem of turning the tongue in the lock has also been solved – the new magnetic latch is symmetrical.
